Outstanding Young Professional of the Year 2022-2023

Jamie Johnson | San Francisco Bay Section

Jamie Johnson is a Water Resource Control Engineer with the State Water Resources Control Board, Office of Enforcement where her work ranges from collection system inspections to economic benefit analysis to operator investigations. Jamie earned her Civil Engineering degree from California State University, Sacramento where she graduated Cum Laude and was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society. Prior to the SWRCB, Jamie was the Director of Data Services at Electro Scan, Inc. where she presented at several conferences, including AWWA ACE and WEFTEC, and had multiple articles published in industry magazines, including Trenchless Technology Magazine and WEF’s World Water Magazine. Additionally, Jamie has volunteered since 2016 with the CWEA SFBS Students & Young Professionals Committee, serving as Chair in 2020. Her efforts earned her the SFBS 2021 Andy Stamatelos Special Service Award and she was recently featured in CWEA’s Clean Water Magazine as an Emerging Leader.
